After having made music under perhaps one or two too many pseudonyms (Dysterquist, Hembygdsföreningen etc) I figured I should return as myself for this release. Mostly because this project makes me so proud I guess and also to balance out the sounds of my previous projects under my given name. I’VE CHANGED DAMN IT! Ha.
And the vocal contributions by my brother 82 and Ten-Headed Skeleton really took it to another depth than I alone could have done as I tend to run out of words after 3-5 songs and find myself not wanting to write any more. Being in english these guest-tracks also make the album more accessible to our dear customers, most of which come from outside this tiny population of swedish speakers. As usual there are also a few instrumental tracks as well as bonus instrumentals for two of the four guest-tracks as a small easter egg for you.... Greatful to have you listening! We are not alone. This is music is our true language and we all speak it fluently. Be safe out there! / Joel Siméus
